4700 BC | Chocolate Popcorn Tin Packaging Design

Nutty Tuxedo

Is a delectable delicacy. Coated with three layers of chocolate, this mushroom caramel popcorn is the highest selling product of 4700 BC. The concept behind this re-design is "A premium gifting experience", while keeping the brand image and aesthetics intact.

The purpose of this re-design project is to introduce the brand's highest-selling tin for the Indian market's gifting solutions which will serve as a respite from the conventional & traditional. Through this design, my aim was to introduce minimal visual elements taking from the nature, taste and texture of the snack with a photograph of the product on the tin itself, unlike its predecessor, which enhances its visibility and familiarity when kept on shelves.

Every element of the visual identity, including the colors, typography, design elements and the styling, is finalised keeping in mind the consumer market, the purpose, the occasion and the brand's visual identity. The wave-like design element is used to convey the layers and richness of the chocolates poured on the popcorn which is the USP of the snack.

This project takes you through the design process with different design directions taken before finalizing on one.
